The FORM

The Concept

THE FORM started its life just as most baits do, on the drawing board or as an idea, but the big difference between us and numerous other bait companies is we spend a lot of our development time thinking outside of the box, not just for the sake of it may we add. It is all based on knowledge, experience and a need to find solutions to problems.
We wanted to develop a bait that ticked all the boxes and take our already proven methods to the next level. This meant stripping away even more of the common denominators that us as carp anglers had educated carp into becoming wary of.

Testing
It was September 2009 when the first testers got their hands on the Form and within the first week Andy Locke had bagged a personal best 38lb 8oz leather.
The Form very quickly became a favourite with the testers across the country plucking big fish from some difficult waters.
From October and up to the big freeze, Dan Mason put countless big carp on the bank from a number of waters in Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Kent. In March 2010 one of Norfolks top carpers, Jeffro, came on board after hearing how well the Form was performing and within two weeks landed his target fish that he had been chasing for two years.
Spring turned into summer and the enzyme active Form came into its own with phenomenal results. By the time autumn had arrived, the Form had accounted for some tremendous catches such as the Norfolk record Baby Face at 48lb 13oz and an enormous 53lb 8oz Elphicks mirror to Matt Atherton along with a string of big fish in a weekend session including the lake record common at 37lb 8oz.

THE FORM Liquid 'Gravy'
We new that we could take the Form to an even higher level with the addition of a combination of liquid extracts that we had been developing specifically for the Form’s profile. The liquid was formulated by isolating the most responsive elements from many different natural extracts; they were then paired and re-tested for effectiveness. This process was repeated over-and-over again until we ended up with an extremely complex liquid that would suitably compliment the Form and stimulate the carps olfactory system without giving it a common denominator for the carp to eventually recognise as danger, as many flavours on the market do today.

One of the most important aspects of the liquid is its ability to penetrate into the boilie ingredients therefore not washing out to quickly, leaving a steady stream of taste enhancing feed stimulants permeating slowly into the water layers, which in turn leaving a constant trail back to the baited spot, unlike many liquid additives today, that just wash out.

The Form liquid also has an unusual characteristic to most other products; it stays exceptionally thin in extremely cold conditions and also helps activate the baits natural enzymes, a huge plus for winter use.

Right from the off the liquid proved to have some tremendous pulling power with carp being drawn from across the lake and multiple captures became the norm and as a reference, only the odd fish were taken by other anglers on the same water.

The Base is an unusual combination of unique ingredients, which gives the Form its superb taste and smell. The bait includes a naturally derived enzyme, which we believe has been missed by the bait industry, also including a revolutionary digestive aid. A nutritional bait that ticks all the box's and one that does not rely on any one, single, common denominator.

Winter: looking very good up to the day after tomorrow freeze up this year.
Summer: Well if late summer and autumn were anything to go by absolutely awesome, with fish not showing any caution what-so-ever in feeding on the bait.
